Sony NEX-FS100 with Conurus Smart EF Lens Adapter


Here is a video by Luc Buelens showing the Sony NEX-FS100 Super 35mm Camcorder and the Conurus Canon EF Smart lens adapter with aperture control. The NEX-FS100 is shown to control the Canon 50mm f/1.4, 17-40L, and 70-200/f4L. Unfortunately the Canon 300mm f/4 lens did not work properly with the NEX Canon EF Smart Adapter.

    We have already diagnosed and fixed the compatibility issue with some Canon lenses (e.g. 300/4L). We've already identified a resolution.

    It was our mistake for having introduced a firmware bug in the Smart Adapter and shipped it. We had no excuse. Please accept our apology. Affected customers may return the defective product back to Metabones for firmware update and we will reimburse you for return shipping.

    If you have not received your shipment yet, please reject it and return to sender. Thank you!

Slow and Quick Video Mode Options for Timelapse Shoot Timelapse Videos with Sony Alpha Cameras using Slow and Quick (S&Q) Motion Video Mode Christopher Burress shows us how to take a time lapse video with his Sony a6500 . He uses S&Q Mode which is found in the Video Settings. This is identical to the method we need to use on the new a7r iii . The cameras then combine all the files shot at one frame per second to a video shown at your set speed.
