Sony NEX-VG10 with 16mm Pancake and NEX-3 with 18-200 OSS



Here is the Sony NEX E-mount 18-200 OSS (Optical Steadyshot) f/3.5-6.3 zoom lens with the NEX-VG10 and the NEX-3. The lens will be available in September 2010 with a price of $699. The NEX-VG10 will come with the 18-200 OSS.

    I am interested in the NEX-5 with 18-200mm lens but I didn't realize that, unlike Sony's Alpha series 18-200mm lens, the SEL18200 is extends in length as you zoom in. That's a very poor design; how is a person supposed to balance a tiny camera when there's 10 inches of lens hanging out in front of it? Boo. I think I'll keep my Leica.
