How small is the new Hasselblad X1D? Here it is next to the Sony a6300 with the Sony 50mm f/1.8 lens (75mm EFOV). The X1D has the XCD 45mm f/3.5 lens attached (35mm EFOV). The X1D sensor is 33 x 44 mm compared to the 15.6 x 23.5 mm sensor on the a6300's - 4X the sensor area.

The new Hasselblad X1D is a mirrorless medium format camera. It uses the Sony 50 mp sensor from the Hasselblad H6D-50c shoehorned into a compact body with an electronic viewfinder. It is 2.5X less expensive than the H6D-50c - the X1D body will retail at $9000.
