NEX-7 with 500mm F4 G SSM Lens
Here is Sony's newest super telephoto lens for the Alpha mount on the NEX-7. The 500mm f/4 G SSM Lens is attached via the LA-EA2 lens adapter for the E-mount. The equivalent field of view on the combination above is 750mm.

this would be great on my Nex-5n! ...and actually not badly priced...I don't see that it has image stabilization, which would be somewhat useful on a 750mm lens.
ReplyDeleteYes very nice lens indeed!!! Ther ewill never be image stabilization in lens as standard alpha cameras have in body stabilization :(
ReplyDeleteThe only way to get in lens stabilization for the NEX is either use e mount lens with stabilization or use conorus EF to Nex adapter and then you can use canon super zooms with IS!
One good thing though with the 500 G SSM, is the "SSM" will make for a very capable video lens!!!
