Sony NEX-5 vs Leica M8

Here is another shootout comparing the Sony NEX-5 and the Leica M8. The lens used was the Zeiss 18mm f/4.0 ZM. The Sony 16mm Pancake was also used so we can compare the Zeiss against it. All shots are by Boris from Wild-Places.com.

    Can you please check if ZM18 will vignette with 49 mm filters?

    Even if you don't have step-down rings & such filters - can you please try with 47mm round hole in dark paper maybe one cm from lens surface.

    Two sample photos wide-open + f/8 would be really great.

Slow and Quick Video Mode Options for Timelapse Shoot Timelapse Videos with Sony Alpha Cameras using Slow and Quick (S&Q) Motion Video Mode Christopher Burress shows us how to take a time lapse video with his Sony a6500 . He uses S&Q Mode which is found in the Video Settings. This is identical to the method we need to use on the new a7r iii . The cameras then combine all the files shot at one frame per second to a video shown at your set speed.
