- Variable delay from 2 seconds to 30 minutes
- Built-in on-off switch and battery (included with unit)
- RED LED indicator when the unit has triggered the camera
- Weighs only 0.6oz, 18g (including battery)
- Comes complete with velcro pads, and Operating Manual - all you need to take picture
Here is the operating manual for the gentLED auto. Check out Gentles Limited for more info on the gentLED auto.
Unfortunately the NEX-3 does not have an IR receiver.

ReplyDeleteIt's one thing to take photos at intervals but how do you make the video with the images?

for the answer to how to make a video from a series of still images
You can make Timelapse videos with Quicktime Pro 7 if on a mac, just load the image sequence and job done.
ReplyDeleteYou can even make timelapse videos with Windows Movie Maker. Just drag and drop your sequence of pictures, set the display interval to something less than 1, ie. on the order of 0.03-0.06, and export.
ReplyDeletegentLED-AUTO now works down to 1 second for faster time-lapse. It also helps users set-up the time between shots with a useful flash sequence at power-up helping to set the time to the nearest second. www.gentles.ltd.uk/gentled/auto.htm
