Sony NEX-5 with a Jupiter-3 and Nokton 40 SC Video

Here is a test video shot with a 60 year old Soviet lens, the Jupiter 3, which is a 50mm with a maximum aperture of f/1.5. At the 2:11 mark, the lens used is the Voigtlander 40mm Nokton Single Coat. Some prefer the SC model for black and white photos ove the CV 40mm Nokton MC.

Sasamao used a Sony NEX E-mount to Leica M Lens adapter.

  1. Hi, which lens do you prefer? I cannot decide, if to go with Jupiter for 100euro, or take Nokton for like 350.

  2. I think the price is a good gauge for quality in this instance. If you can spend the 350, I don't think you will be disappointed.
