Here is another high end underwater housing for the Sony NEX-5. Similar to the Nauticam housing, the Seatool is carved out of aluminum to ensure it can protect the NEX-5 to depths of 60 meters (196.9 feet) underwater. The Seatool housing has options to use either the 16mm pancake lens or the 18-55 OSS E-mount lenses. It uses fiber optics to trigger external flashes with the included Sony NEX flash.

    Price are in euro but after conversion, total cost for full kit: about 3200 $US !!!
    (it seems to be the underwater Rolls :D)
    FYI, we can find the NEX5 dual kit (NEX5+16mm+18/55mm) at 630 € here in France (in good stores).

    Yet, I can't answer to your first question about US availability...

Slow and Quick Video Mode Options for Timelapse Shoot Timelapse Videos with Sony Alpha Cameras using Slow and Quick (S&Q) Motion Video Mode Christopher Burress shows us how to take a time lapse video with his Sony a6500 . He uses S&Q Mode which is found in the Video Settings. This is identical to the method we need to use on the new a7r iii . The cameras then combine all the files shot at one frame per second to a video shown at your set speed.
