Sony NEX-5 with a Voigtlander 50mm Nokton
SeattleSteve posted some sample photos from his NEX-5 with a Cosina Voigtlander 50mm f/1.1 Nokton. If you want to play in low light and don't have the Leica Noctilux handy, the CV Nokton is the way to go.
You will need a Leica M to Sony NEX (E-mount) adapter to use the CV 50mm Nokton on the Sony NEX.

here are some photos taken by SeattleSteve with the Nokton 50.
Thanks for the photos SeattleSteve!
I have the Nex-5 + Nokton 50 lens
ReplyDeleteNow looking for a case for this setup, preferably neoprene type case. Any recommendations?
Hi, nice setup!
ReplyDeleteI'm intending to get a Nokton 58mm f 1.4 to go with my NEX-3. Can I know where I can find the adapter for that? (F-mount to E-mount if im not wrong).
Also, aperture and shutter control are all done on the lens and i cant control it on the camera right?
TIA!
Stan
You can use any Nikon F to Sony E-mount lens adapter.
ReplyDeleteSorry Ken, I gotta ask again - in order to use this lense, I have to first use the Nikon F to Sony E-mount lens adapter, than the Sony E-mount to NEX-5 adapter, which makes it two adapters in total? Where can I find these adapters? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteRoger, the NEX uses the E-mount. The lens on this post is a Leica M mount. All you will need is a Leica M to NEX (E-mount) adapter. I'll update the post to clarify.
